b&m-Trimnut®
The b&m-TRIMNUT® turns the principle of thread-forming upside down. In this case, not the screw but the nut is fastening device and thread-forming tool at the same time.
Designed to remove welding spatter on weld bolts and coating residues, the b&m-TRIMNUT® is also able to form a male thread in conjunction with a bolt geometry adjusted to it.
The ISO metric screw threads produced this way are completely loadable, repeated screwing is also possible.
