SPECIFICATIONS:
Resistance to corrosion
“EURTEX” screws guarantee a high resistance to corrosion, equivalent to stainless steel AISI 304 (A2).
Salt spray tests have proved that “EURTEX” screws can stand over 1000 hours before appearance of corrosion/rust.
The anti-corrosion features of “EURTEX” screws also ensure a very high resistance to sulfuric gas (up to 20 Kesternich cycles).
Tensile strength
“EURTEX” screws have a high tensile strength, higher than steel carbon screws and screws in AISI 410.
This feature, together with a superficial strength of min HV 0.3=600, make these screws particularly suitable for applications where until
yesterday only case hardened screws or AISI 410 screws were required.
Application
“EURTEX” screws can be realized as self-tapping and self-drilling screws.
Due to their high tensile strength and high resistance to corrosion, “EURTEX” screws can be used wherever high standards of quality and safety are required together with low maintenance costs.
“EURTEX” screws allow to drastically reduce the manufacturing lead time, by eliminating any pre-drilled hole in the parts to be assembled..
